Get Media Smart! Media literacy in the 21st century – European Parliament – Brussels, 4 December 2007

The European Parliament organised a conference on media literacy entitled Get Media Smart! Media literacy in the 21 st century which took place on 4th December 2007 in Brussels.

The conference was chaired by the MEP Christa Prets and four experts in the field were invited to participate and discuss their position on the topic. An interesting debate among all attendants followed. EAVI’s written contribution to the conference: Media Literacy and the European Institutions: Legislative framework and initiatives.
