Privacytopia Binary is an exhibition and side event of the upcoming 10th International Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conference in Brussels on 25th - 27th January. Running from Jan 13 - 29, Privacytopia is organised by Privacy Salon and artist, curator and researcher Bogomir Doringer, whom we recently spoke to ahead of the opening, as well as duo The Museum who are presenting as part of the exhibition.

Post-truth was named word of the year by Oxford Dictionaries last week as the scramble to understand what exactly happened in the US election was well underway. One argument being forwarded is that the proliferation of fake news on Facebook may have influenced the result.

The first #MyStory event, organised by the Alliance Internationale de Journalistes (AIJ) and the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) at their offices in Brussels, involved roundtable debates with around 50 people in attendance.
